Moments of Beauty
A photo that reminds me of the myth of Persephone, and her fate of spending 6 months each year in the Underworld—one month for each pomegranate seed she ate there. Her mother Demeter mourns her absence by causing no plants to grow on the earth—and so we endure the winter cold and wait for her return.
