Château Chic
French designer Pierre Yovanovitch and his business and life partner Matthieu Cussac were looking for a modern home in Provence when Pierre came across an ad for a château in the back of a magazine. In the same family and their descendants since the 10th century, its four elderly owners weren't interested in continuing with its upkeep—they only visited it for two months every summer. Fast forward through its purchase and three years of restoration, and the new home of Pierre and Matthieu is now a sophisticated blend of original architecture and modern design. More here on WSJ.

Geometry of Circles
What do you get when you pair minimalist composer Philip Glass with Sesame Street? A lovely, animated meditation on circles. Love this.
The Deep Space of Digital Reading
There's a difference between reading digitally and reading print books — and why we shouldn't worry about leaving print behind.
The Honey Facial
British star facialist Alexandra Soveral explains how raw honey is brilliant for exfoliating—non abrasive and gentle, it's a nourishing treat for your face that's right there in the kitchen.

Back to School
An 1893 schoolhouse in Copenhagen is now a creative retreat for Jon and Sascha, who both work in the music industry. Initially attracted by its architecture, it was the large surrounding property and inner courtyard that finally sold them—it feels very secluded, despite being near the old town centre. When you work with sound every day, silence is a true luxury. More here on Ladny Dom.

A Marvelous Moment for French Writers and Artists
