The first appearance of spring vegetables. So welcome after a long winter.

Barcelona Art Nouveau
Interior designer Elina Vila D'Acosta-Calheiros and her husband, Ginés Gorriz, fell for this stunning, century-old Barcelona apartment the moment they stepped inside. Built in 1910, the space has kept its original Art Nouveau details, including the beautiful intricate plasterwork, doors with porcelain handles and the elegant tiled floors. Leaving the architecture as untouched as possible, the couple chose clean-lined modern furnishings to act as a quiet foil to all the sumptuous detail. Just lovely. More here on Dwell.

Atelier: Sally King Benedict
Today I'm admiring the beautiful abstract work of painter Sally King Benedict — this piece in particular, titled 'No. 65', has a lovely fresh colour palette that feels like spring. Beautiful. See more of Sally's work here.
