Simple Pleasures
Electricity — something we tend to take for granted here, until (as happened last night for a short time) there's a power outage. But we adapt so quickly with candles — and find a renewed appreciation for silence and/or conversation, too.

Peaceful in Paris
Hidden away in a courtyard, away from the noise and bustle of Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine in the 11th Arrondissement, the Paris home of interior designer Paola Navone is a tranquil oasis — one that, surprisingly given her vocation, she has left almost untouched. With its abundance of natural light from twelve windows, beautiful wood floors and brick walls, it's a space that needs no embellishment. Here Paola has added her own creations as well as all the things she has collected on her travels. Perfect. More here on Interiørmagasinet.
