Simple Pleasures
The comfort of a hearty home made soup on a bitterly cold winter evening. So warming for both body and soul.

New and Old in Naples
Architect Antonio Martiniello returned to his native Naples after studying in Austria for five years, filled with enthusiasm for the new ideas he encountered abroad. But he also has a fine appreciation of a city so steeped in history, and his ability to balance both can be seen in his home and studio space, an apartment in a former palace built in the 1700s, with its original fresco paintings still intact. Here his taste for minimalism offers a modern edge in contrast to the ornate surroundings — an approach that looks ahead while appreciating the traditional craftsmanship that is still very much alive in Italy.
