Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. There are various craft fairs on here so there may be a little early holiday shopping in my immediate future. Enjoy your own.

Nordic Style in Mallorca

The founder and namesake of the tinekhome brand, Danish designer Tine Kjeldsen brings her trademark Scandinavian style to her pied à terre in Mallorca with beautiful results. Love. More here in Est Magazine.

Sweetness and Light

A lovely vignette in the home of designer Yvonne Koné. Take a tour of her beautiful space in this week's Buffet, too.

This week's links. Enjoy.

Elegant and Modern
Take a tour of the beautiful, minimalist Copenhagen home of designer Yvonne Koné and children's book illustrator Raasmus Juul and family. Love this one.

The Verdant Legacy of Irving Penn's Flowers
Iconic photographer Irving Penn's flower studies will be shown in their entirety for the first time at Hamiltons Gallery in London — follow the link to see a sampling of what will be on display. Utterly gorgeous images.

Fortnum and Mason's Magical Chocolate Makers
Wonderful behind the scenes look at Audrey's Chocolates, who've made their chocolates by hand since the 1920s and now supply the posh Fortnum and Mason with their exquisite violet creams and other creations. Their eccentric set-up in a Victorian house in Hove, England, is strongly reminiscent of Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.

A Visual History of Ancient Hairdos (and Don'ts)
Fun little animated video begins prior to 3200 BC, covering over 50 centuries of hair fashion in a single video. Interesting to see how hair has always been a form of self-expression.

Japanese Hair Salons
And while we're on the subject of hair, have a look at this round up of beautiful Japanese hair salons over at Dezeen. Stunning spaces.

Teaching Grownups How to Eat
Great New Yorker review of 'First Bite', a fascinating new book by British food historian Bee Wilson that explores how individuals and cultures learn to eat.

Pear Upside-Down Cake
A dessert that is as pretty as it is delectable.

Moments of Beauty

Delicately warm pastels for cool November days. Model Kati Nescher photographed by Sølve Sundsbø for Vogue Italia, November 2014.

Bohemian Modern

Love the look of this family home by interior designer Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors — great blend of the couples East Coast and West Coast roots, with the crisp blues, greys and whites livened up with warm textiles, rugs and vintage furniture. So good. More here on MyDomaine.

Milan Elegance

Beautiful and tranquil, the Milan showroom of Italian furniture brand De Padova has been designed by Piero Lissoni to feel like a luxurious loft-style home rather than a shop. He's definitely succeeded — it's a great space. More here.

Admiring this delicately lovely mixed media work by Yokohama-based artist Miwha Han today — gorgeous. See (and purchase) more of her work on her Etsy shop here.
