Brownstone Beauty
This beautiful Brooklyn brownstone is also a hard working one — so far this year, it's appeared in 13 ads, while last year it was in 9 (and 2 the year before). It's all the sweeter to hear after finding out that owner Merele Williams-Adkins and her husband Terry Adkins did most of the renovation work themselves, removing countless layers of lead paint and more to uncover the beauty hidden beneath. No wonder film crews routinely fall for its lovingly restored 19th century details. More over at the New York Times here.
