The Whole Story

Located in the centre of Madrid, this turn of the century home has managed to retain its elegant style despite a dizzying series of transformations. The apartment spent its first few decades as part of another larger home before it was divided into two — and even became an office for a time as well. When its current owners came across it, it had been empty for several years, so they started from scratch, renovating and restoring the sadly neglected space. Now a comfortable and stylish family home, its innate qualities of light and space are truly being appreciated. More here on Micasa.
