Bookshelf: John Saturnall's Feast
Loved this one. Lawrence Norfolk's novel John Saturnall's Feast is an engrossing story set in the seventeeth-century, following the life of an orphan who becomes the greatest cook of his age during a time of civil war and religious upheaval — and with a little magic to add a bit of spice, too. Highly recommended.
