Electric Blue

Admiring the stylish Paris home of interior designer Sarah Lavoine today, a duplex on the top floor of a 19th century house. Stunning use of colour—where others would have used grey or other neutral tones as a running theme, she's opted for an extraordinary deep turquoise. More here on AD Germany.

Paris Glamour

Architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of Paris-based Studio Ko have made a name for themselves all over the world with their dramatic designs, but here the pair are in their home city of Paris, bringing their luxe mix of custom designed pieces and flea market finds to a sophisticated loft overlooking the rooftops of Paris. I'm particularly smitten with that amazing staircase. Stunning. More here on Trendland.

Weekend

Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. After a week of rain it's supposed to clear up at the end, so looking forward to getting outside and enjoying the autumn colours before they go. How about you?

A Smoky Palette

Remodelista recently featured a beautiful loft renovation by French interior designer Marianne Evennou for her friends Helene and Marc, and I loved its inspired touches of colour so much I had to share it here with you — those smoky tones on the walls and furniture are a wonderful contrast to the industrial greys used throughout the space, all softened by the curves of the mid century furniture and lighting. More here on Remodelista.
