Moments of Beauty

“Women are like water”. Photo by Annie Lai for Puss Puss Magazine. Love the fluid lines and transparency in this image—just beautiful.

Atelier: Evan Clayton Horback

I love hand made artist books, and this one, "Belle no 7" by Evan Clayton Horback, is a particularly beautiful example. Mixed media on book cover. See more of Evan's work here.

Moments of Beauty

A mood of gentle reflection today. Love the softness of this — the delicate colours, the pretty folds of the chiffon blouse. Beautiful.

Atelier: Rowan Mersh

Today I'm admiring the stunning work of London-based multi-media sculptor Rowan Mersh, who creates richly textured abstract pieces. Shown here is a detail from Placuna Phoenix, made up of thousands of delicately translucent discs — perhaps mother of pearl, I'm not sure. But utterly beautiful. See more of this piece and other works on his website here.

Moments of Beauty

Jump for joy — the joy of wearing pretty clothes. An architectural approach to summer dressing — love the contrasting solid and translucent panels in the pants.
