Holiday Home

Danish photographer Tia Borgsmidt's approach to Christmas decorating is a light and fresh one, featuring soft blues, greens and natural wood against a crisp white background. See the rest here.

Colour Theory

The inspiring apartment of the Danish artist and educator Aliki Skytte is a perfect example of how a little creativity is all you need to have a beautiful home. Constantly experimenting with the look of her space, Aliki uses white as a backdrop for her playful approach to colour — and her DIY, fearless transformation of flea market finds is happy encouragement to be adventurous when decorating one's own home. A Well Designed Life

Today I'm admiring the lovely Frederiksberg apartment of art director Ida Thestrup and analysis consultant Morten Dalgaard Hansen — fantastic style in a small space, with lovely touches of surreal humour here and there. Really love this one. More here on BoligLiv.

Vintage Meets Modern

Loved this space as soon as I saw it over on French By Design — the home and studio of Rikke and Birgit of Danish brand Honey and Flora (Honning Og Flora). Great, fresh mix of vintage and found objects. See more over on Bolig Liv.

A Graceful Home

What was once the home of Monaco's Consulate General in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, is now the light and happy home of Pernille, Lars, their three children and their dog Stella. But it took some work first after they purchased it — the 1939 building was worn and had an impractical layout, designed as it was for public and private use, with many small rooms and hallways. After it was all done, though, they had a lovely surprise gift from the former owners — a signed autograph of Grace Kelly, who, it turned out, had been a guest there many years before. Bright Bohemian

Admiring this airy Danish apartment today, the home of Dorthe Thure and Billy Kearins and their two small children. Fantastic collection of art and ceramics — not surprising in the home of a printmaker and a designer. Love. More here on Femina.

Summer Idyll

Every summer Nicole, Claus and their three children pack up, sublet their Copenhagen apartment and take the hour-long drive to their lovely little cottage by the sea. Perfect way to live when the weather is warm. More here on Bolig.
