Admiring the Stockholm home of designer Amelia Widell today. Such an eye for colour—subtle tones that work beautifully with her collection of vintage pieces. More here at Elle Decoration UK.

A comfortable spot for your Thursday. Have a lovely one.

I came across this lovely Ghent home on French By Design recently, and had to share. No other info, but such an inspired use of colour (that ochre yellow sofa!) great architectural details and the satisfying contrast of crisp white walls with polished concrete floors. Wonderful.

Today I'm admiring this open two-bedroom apartment in Moscow, designed by Crosby Studios, with architecture and decor inspired by the look of New York lofts. More here on Elle Decoration UK.

Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. I'm thinking of going to the open house for a community pottery studio — fun to take a look around as I hope to take classes there soon. How about you?

Love this gorgeous renovated cottage in Copenhagen, featured in the January 2014 issue of Elle Decoration UK. Minimalist Scandinavian perfection.

What was once a Copenhagen school has been brilliantly converted by music producer Jon Oron and a group of his friends into 16 apartments and two adjacent music studios. Now Jon and his partner Sasha live in a second floor flat, which serves as both home and as a place to entertain clients and friends. Love their sophisticated bohemian style — and great art collection, too.
