Sunny Mid-Century Modern

How could you not be happy in this cheerful, mid-century California home? Gently updated by architect David Yama of Yamamar Design and interior designer Alison Damonte, it's now a showcase for a great art collection—including a stunning cast concrete fireplace, made in Mexico in the 1960's. A Barcelona Loft

Admiring this great industrial loft in Barcelona, renovated by interior designer Marta Castellano and architecture studio Serrat-Tort—so many great original details. A Photographer's Retreat

Looking at this beautiful, light-filled home in Sonoma County, California, it's hard to imagine what it was like when photographers Laura Resen and Cloud Devine first saw it—dark walls, fluorescent kitchen lighting, purple and cream shag carpeting in the bedrooms. The pair saw the potential behind it all, though, with Cloud happily taking charge of the renovation. Love the results. See more here at One Kings Lane.

Boho in Paris

This elegant Paris apartment, home to two lawyers and their four children, is one I've featured on the blog before—but these new photos make a revisit more than worthwhile. Located in a Haussmann building in the 16th arrondissement, the space has been impeccably reorganized and styled by the Royal Roulotte studio. Love this one.
