Sweetness and Light

Really loving the slate blue (Down Pipe by Farrow & Ball) wall colour in the living room of Kate Watson-Smyth, a journalist who also runs the interiors blog Mad About the House. See the rest of her beautiful London home here.

Picturesque in Puglia

American-born art historian and curator Peter Benson Miller has been collecting seriously since he was 13, so it's no surprise that, many years later, he and his partner Giovanni Panebianco were beginning to find themselves squeezed out of their Rome apartment. They eventually found the perfect home in Puglia, where the hundreds of objects collected by Miller over the years can be displayed in all their glory. Stunning space. Read more about it here in T, the New York Times style magazine.

A Monument to Marble

Located on the edge of Rome, a 15th century monastery is now the stunning home of real estate developer and collector Paola Santarelli. It's also a monument to marble—something the women in Santarelli's family have been fascinated by (and collected) for generations. Read all about her extraordinary, museum-quality collection in T Magazine here.

Elegant Eyrie

It's hard to believe that the stunning Paris apartment of collector Emmanuel de Bayser is just 60 square metres. Furnished with design classics, it's a testament to De Bayser's discerning eye — one that he uses to great effect in The Corner, the Berlin concept store he runs with partner Josef Voelk. Form and Colour

Unlike her Paris contemporaries, antiques dealer and decorator Florence Lopez runs her business directly from her apartment, a former sculpture studio on the Rue du Dragon. No cool white-box gallery atmosphere here. Love her extraordinary eye for colour and form. More here on WSJ.
