Sponsored Post: Watts and Co.

Thrilled with my beautiful new pillar candle from venerable London-based company Watts and Co., who are celebrating 140 years in business. Hand made from blended beeswax, the candles are produced in England in small runs, carrying on the company's rich tradition as Britain's most prestigious ecclesiastical furnishing company (these are in fact church candles). My own candle shipped lightning fast from the UK to Canada — order your own candles here.

Holiday Home

Located in central Madrid, it was the original hardwood floors of this lovely apartment that was the selling point for the current owner — that and the pretty architectural details. Furnishings are fairly minimal, to allow an ever changing play of more ephemeral pieces such as textiles, art, cushions and such to take centre stage. Here we see the space decorated for Christmas, with lovely ornaments and festive details so the holiday spirit may be enjoyed throughout. More here on Mi Casa.
