Italian Toastie
Perfect for when you just want a sandwich, but yearn for something a bit fancier and more filling than the usual. This one features mushrooms sautéed in garlic, black tapenade, provolone cheese, fresh oregano leaves and salami on good bread rolls, but it's endlessly adaptable.

Today I'm admiring this stunning apartment by designer and architect Joseph Dirand, located on Avenue Montaigne in Paris—the gorgeous result of being given complete carte blanche by his client. Dream job, dream home. More about it here in T magazine.

London Calm
Originally a professional artist's combined studio, gallery and home, over the years this beautiful 19th century London house was converted into a smaller house and four apartments. Designer Rose Uniacke was recently commissioned to do an extensive renovation of the property, taking on the huge job of turning it back into a private home again. I love how she has preserved (or restored) many of the period details, allowing the floorboards to remain bare, and kept the decor very minimal. Gorgeous. See more of this stunning space here.

Malibu Chic
Interior designer Vanessa Alexander intriguingly describes her Malibu home as 'classic Georgian' meets 'unauthentic Tuscan' meets 'Balinese'. But these disparate influences come together in the most natural way here, resulting in a relaxed space with lots of personality. Wonderful. More photos here at My Domaine.
