Thanksgiving leftovers. In some ways, even better than the original dinner. I usually like to do a classic sandwich — accompanied by a soup of the roasted veggies — but this fall harvest bowl with quinoa by Scarlett of fork and flower is inspiring me to try something new.

The spectacular beauty of autumn. Andrew and I went for a neighborhood walk on Thanksgiving yesterday to admire the changing leaves — and to take a few pictures, too. Those are my toes just at the bottom of this photo!

Our Thanksgiving this year will be a fairly quiet one, as various family members are out of town and we'll both be working part of the weekend, too. But there'll definitely be pumpkin and other seasonal fare on the dinner table — and a decorative gourd or two as well. How about you?
