Stable Influence

Love the character in Swedish blogger and stylist Daniella Witte's home, a former riding school just outside Malmö. A perfect balance of neutrals and greys, warmed with wood. More photos here.

London Calm

Today I'm admiring the calm elegance of London-based fashion designer Anna Valentine's apartment/studio—love the high ceilings and amazing natural light. Gorgeous. More about it here on Elle Decoration.

A Clear Light

Admiring this lovely Scandinavian home today, photographed by Pia Winther for Elle Decoration. No other details, though it seems to have been for a holiday issue (as there's some subtle Christmas decor here and there), but wanted to share as it's such a wonderfully peaceful space.

Weekend

Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. Looking forward to a little relaxation after a busy week — and hanging out in that hanging chair would definitely be a peaceful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Sophisticated Mix

The New York apartment of Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson, founders of the design studio Apparatus, is a fascinating mix of influences — the palette of painter Mark Rothko, African art and architecture, 1930s modern and more all blend together in a harmonious whole, a tribute to their great eye for design and colour. More here on Elle Décoration.

Boho Style in New York

Fashion designer Mona Kowalska's lovely home is a classic beauty — a nineteenth-century brownstone in Brooklyn. Decorated with vintage and thrift shop finds, its relaxed bohemian style is a cheeky riposte to the grand proportions of the space. More about it here on Elle Decoration.
