Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. It's supposed to be milder here, so everyone is pretty excited about only wearing, say, five layers outdoors. Cannot wait for spring. What are you up to?

A weekend in Lisbon is pretty much perfect at the stunning Baixa Home. Dating from the late 18th century, this unique and lovely hotel consists of 13 apartments with decor based on the gardens of Lisbon, all furnished with local Portuguese handicrafts, vintage furniture and beautiful floral wallpapers. Fully fitted out, each apartment has a kitchen, living room and bathroom — and breakfast delivered each morning to make your stay even sweeter. Love this. More here on Marie Claire Maison.

CANVAS, a series of seating by Tokyo-based design studio YOY is really blowing my mind today. Using a special elastic fabric printed with a chair (or sofa or armchair) image and stretched on a aluminium and wood frame, you simply lean the piece against a wall and then sit into it.
