I had a lovely email from photographer Cheryl Maeder the other day, introducing me to her latest work, Submerge. The series explores the relationship humans share with water, and I love the abstract quality of these images — and how the refracted water turns the submerged human figure into a shifting, mysterious presence. Beautiful. You can view more of this series at the 'Breaking Surface' exhibition now on at Ca'D'Oro Gallery in NYC, too.
