Jewel Box

Three floors above her new shop on the Upper East Side, French jewelry designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac has turned her tiny pied-a-terre into a delicately lovely space reminiscent of a classic French boudoir, mixed with a few modern touches. Serene in approach, it's a retreat for Marie-Hélène from the bustle of the city: "I love New York, it's huge, it's filled with energy. But it also requires that I can keep away, have a quiet place for me." I love how she mixes references to Marie Antoinette with '60s space age lights. Perfect.  More about it here on AD Magazine.
