Yes. I concur absolutely. I just spent the last week in Yosemite with a bunch of 7th graders (my son included) and while I was nervous that it was going to be an exhausting stressful trip, IT WAS LOVELY. We hiked and moved our bodies everyday! AND we were outside in a moving and beautiful place. The Out of the Doors moved me so much I wrote about it here: http://pomegranateandseeds.blogspot.com/2013/01/yosemite-legacy-of-our-mothers-of-our.html as well as here: http://pomegranateandseeds.blogspot.com/2013/01/gratitude-mondays_28.html
Cheers to more quiet adventures that nourish our soul and fill us up with something other than stress! warmest wishes, becca
By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.

This is lovely, Becca — thanks so much for sharing. And so glad you had a chance to get outside and commune a little with nature, too!
