Brass Notes
Located in the upper-floor of a prewar brick building on one of Brooklyn’s leafy avenues, the elegantly minimalist apartment of the Mandayam–Vohra family is a serene space with interesting notes of brass and wood — relaxed and lovely. More here on Dwell.

Smile
Amazing. This French commuter train running between Paris and Versailles has been refurbished to look like the palace, thanks to a clever process that involved layering the walls of the train with a high-tech plastic film, create replications of seven different palace areas including the Hall of Mirrors, Marie-Antoinette’s estate, the formal gardens, and even a mock library in one of the train cars.
