Situated on a hill overlooking a fjord, this lovely 1912 house was suffering from a bad case of the 1970s when present owner Annette and her husband purchased it — the interior was wall to wall brown and orange. Gallons of white paint later, it's now a pretty space with industrial and French influences — light and easy to live in. Love. More here. Via Bolig Pluss.

I was intrigued to see the name of designer Karim Rashid's new furniture collection for Bo Concept — Ottawa, in homage to Karim's beginnings in the capital of Canada, where the designer graduated. Consisting of a dining table, chairs and sideboard, Ottawa is inspired by nature, as can be seen by the leaf-shaped silhouette of the chairs and the "forest" of legs on each piece. As Ottawa happens to be my home town, I can't help but feel a little proud that it's inspired such a lovely design. Via Woman Magazine.
