Today I'm admiring the extraordinary work of Manchester U.K.-based artist Susie MacMurray — in particular her Garment Sculptures series, in which the usage of everyday materials such as balloons, rubber gloves and pins give her beautiful dresses an ironic subtext. Really clever and inventive work.
This stunning photo is from a series in the March/April issue of Sierra magazine profiling five photographers who are also professional climbers. Shown here is a gorgeous shot of climber Chris Alstrin on Grandma's Glass in Ouray, Colorado, taken just before midnight by photographer Keith Ladzinski. See the rest of the series here.
