Vintage Marseille
Located in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille in an area of modest houses near the beach is this one — a small house that has been home for the last five years to Emma, the designer of the fashion brand Sessùn and her family. The house had undergone several transformations before Emma moved in — in the 1980s architect Daniel Régis enlarged part of the garden and landscaping, while the space inside was opened up and redesigned by another architect, Matthew Place. The decor, though, is Emma's, inspired by her many trips to South America. It features warm natural materials, vintage and modern pieces, light-filled rooms — and a dash of bright colour here and there, too. Love. More here on Marie Claire Maison.
