A ring made in France between 1830-60, with the romantic hidden message 'je t'aime'.

Actually, it's linked to a game in France: to know if you love someone you take a daisy, tear the petals off, saying successively for each petal "I love you" "a little" "a lot" "I'm crazy for you" "I don't love you at all", until all the petals have been teared off. And the last thing you say is supposed to reveal how you feel about the person you're interested in.
That's what the ring is for: on the picture it's not written "I love you" but "I don't love you at all".
I guess you're supposed to start on a random flower and open all the little flowers to reveal how you feel.
