Atelier: Suzanne Jongmans
Inspired by 16th and 17th century Flemish and Dutch paintings, the work of artist Suzanne Jongmans recreates the look of these classic images with a twist — she uses foam packing materials instead of rich silks and lace. Besides looking great, it's a subtle comment on our disposable culture, too. Lovely.
