A Mill Transformed

Exuberant and playful, the Marseilles loft home and workshop of Lebanese-born stylist, set designer and artist Mitri Hourani is a temple to recycling. The house itself was formerly a mill, and it's now filled with a fascinating collection, the result of Mitri's philosophy of retrieving objects and then re-inventing them, giving them a second life. The resulting ever-evolving interior is a brilliant reflection of Mitri's vibrant imagination. More (in French) here on Marie Claire Maison.

It's difficult to believe that this decoration was made form recycled materials! It's stunning and a brilliant way of saving money.

I also live in an old mill in the south of Spain, and I always try to decorate it with natural and recycled items. Though the result is very different from the mill you are showing to us!!
Kisses from Spain,
