An old Finnish house has a fresh and playful look, thanks to quirky details like the cheerful green tiled stove, restaurant menu art and smiling toy monkey perched on the couch. So happy and fun to live in. Via avotakka.

I've been a huge fan of British designer Kelly Hoppen ever since discovering her work years ago through The World of Interiors magazine — so I was very excited to receive a review copy of her beautiful new book, Kelly Hoppen Interiors: Inspiration and Design Solutions for Stylish, Comfortable Interiors. Illustrated with stunning photography by Mel Yates, the book covers Kelly's projects around the globe as well as offering more personal insights into what she finds inspiring. A lovely read that'll leave you excited with the possibilities in your own space — and highly recommended!
(slightly wonky book photographs by me — getting used to a new camera!)
