The painter Catherine Le-Van and her husband are both passionate about design, and their home in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré on the Ile de Ré is the beautiful result of their shared enthusiasm — it's an exquisite balance of classic midcentury design, art and rustic vintage pieces. What beautiful peaceful spaces. Love them
I can't stop looking at the second to last image, it's just striking. I think what I love about it is that there's such a connection to the outdoors - both with the small deck space and the open window.
