I love the texture and tactile quality of hand thrown ceramics — so warm and friendly. I have a small porcelain mug made by a local potter that I only use for evening tea — makes it an enjoyable little ritual.

Oh these are lovely. I, like you, have a few earthenware mugs especially set aside for tea and coffee.
