Much as I love the more neutral toned lofts I tend to feature here, this one, owned by Sentou gallery director Pierre Romanet, is a fun change of pace. Bursting with colour, filled with souvenirs of his travels, an extensive art collection and furnished with design classics, it's a stimulating and fascinating space. More about Pierre's home (in French) here, too. Via Elle Decoration.

Looking for a great online read? Head on over to a society story, a blog and personal journal devoted to the arts, culture, politics and ideas — and where you'll find great stories such as this recent post by Jessica about her wonderfully talented friend Melissa (above), a performer, choreographer, dance educator, and fine arts activist. Happy reading!
