Simple Pleasures

Colour, and its ability to transform a space, a mood, an object — or people.

Kitchen Inspiration

I've been thinking of changing things up in the kitchen (while I'm still in spring cleaning mode) and so headed over to LivingEtc for some pretty inspiration. Here are a few that I particularly liked — which one (or more) appeals to you? More kitchen inspiration can be found here, too.

Automatism Atelier

A little suggestion for Mother's Day — a letterpress postcard print from my Veggie collage series! Shown here is Lady Asparagus, hand printed for me by the wonderful Lauren Potosky of Play Clothes Press, who used a Pearl Press dating from 1895 and acid free, 100% cotton, 140 lb. weight cold pressed Fabriano Artistico paper. Each limited edition print measures 4" x 6" and is of archival quality. And if asparagus isn't your thing, visit the automatism atelier and say hello to Mr. Onions, Miss Cabbage and Sir Potato! I can see one of these tucked alongside a few packets of seeds in a flower pot decorated with a pretty ribbon.
