I love the delicacy of this image — the quiet gaze and the soft blush pink tones throughout are so pretty.

Last fall Dean Chalkley encountered a group of young Mods while at his monthly DJ night, Shake!, at The Boogaloo pub in Highgate. Impressed by their fab style and attitude (and dancing skills), he invited them to participate in a photo shoot. The wonderful result is what you see here. And as if these photos weren't cool enough, the name for this show was suggested to Chalkley by the Modfather himself — Paul Weller. The New Faces exhibition runs until 29 April at The Book Club in London. Via Creative Review.
Photographer Jan Banning has been traveling throughout the USA, Bolivia, China, Liberia, India, Yemen, Russia and France photographing bureaucrats at work. Fascinating glimpse into the day to day life of government around the world (all of which seems to involve, unsurprisingly, lots of paperwork). See more from his series here. Via CreativeRoots.
