Lovely things in the mail. On Friday I received this wonderful trio of 19th century potato mashers, ordered the week before from the wonderful vintage shop trampoline on etsy. It was this beautiful photo that did it for me — I completely fell for the sculptural quality of these and (unusually for me) immediately bought them. Have you guys bought any vintage loveliness lately?

What was once an old farmhouse in Belgium has been transformed into a bright and modern open space for a couple and their three sons. The main floor contains the library and office, kitchen, living room and master bedroom, while the second floor, an open loft space that has kept its original wood beams, is the children's sleep and play area. Love how relaxed and liveable this conversion is — it looks very much like a happy home. More photos here, too. Via OWI.
