These vintage rolling pins are lovely to me not only for their warm patina, but for how they make me think of their generations of constant use, making people happy with lovely home baked sweets. From Sadie Olive on Etsy (where they're no longer available but do look at her other wonderful finds!), via oh hello friend.
I love the loft-like home of Shawn Moseley, who worked closely with designer Scott Ball to design and build his new house in Atlanta (Georgia USA) after realizing that building from scratch was in fact a better option for his budget than renovating an existing loft. Inspiring — and a great example of thinking outside the box. Read more (and see more photos) from the Dwell article here.
