Warmth and Texture

When I first saw this warm and welcoming home over at the always wonderful desire to inspire, I immediately wanted to curl up amongst all those cosy knit cushions. The home belongs to a Finnish couple with five children — she crafts amazing knit objects, and he's a carpenter. Love the textures and relaxed vibe to this space — and now that the weather is getting cooler (we had our first real snowfall yesterday), it's even more appealing. More photos here, too. From Plaza via Kim of desire to inspire.

Aha...Lori you found a lady with big knitting needles. This is so cozy & lovely. We've not had snowfall yet but any day I think. Not quite ready but oh well. xo

I am so into texture these days; HUGE, big, luscious texture. I LOVE her knitting and that it is just not for scarves anymore. Thank you!
