Faber Poetry Series

Faber & Faber continues their wonderful tradition of commissioning original prints for book jackets, with six new gift hardcovers — each with illustrated covers and endpapers showcasing the work of a leading illustrator printmaker. Gorgeous — and why can't more publishers do this? See the collection here and read more about the series on the Faber blog here.

Lovely collection of two of my favorite things: poetry & book covers.

The Faber covers are wonderful: very evocative of the poems inside the covers.

These are such interesting pieces of graphic art. I especially love the Sylvia Plath cover. This is my first visit to your blog and I have thoroughly enjoy what I've seen so far. I also (like so many these days) have a blog of my own and would love for you to stop by. :-) I posted a story today about the mid-century graphic designer Lora Lamm that I think you might be interested in.
