Lightly Vintage

Italian architect Fuksas Massimilano and his wife Doriana have created a modernist apartment for themselves that has a wonderful atmosphere. Located on the Place des Vosges in Paris, the space fortunately did not require major work — Fuksas removed a few walls and added steel beams to support the upper floors, which open it up even more and adds a touch of industrial style. Doriana, a collector of furniture by Jean Prouvé, was in charge of the interiors, filling it with furniture by Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto or Noguchi. Mingling styles and centuries, their home has a comfortable lightness to it that's really appealing. More here (in French) at Marie Claire Maison.
