When Tine Kjeldsen and her husband Jacob Fossum first saw this 1846 whitewashed villa on the Danish island of Funen, they knew they had found their dream home. Located in a beautiful rural setting, with 350 square metres of space inside, it had plenty of room for their growing family but was also in dire need of renovating. Happily, this didn't deter the couple behind the wonderful interior design company Tine K Home. The decoration of their new home reflects Tine's own design philosophy of mixing old and new, Nordic and ethnic — objects from Vietnam, Morocco and France blend harmoniously in the space, adding colour and texture to the traditional white tones used throughout. The result is this lovely and idyllic island retreat. Love. More photos here. Via Sköna hem.
