A few of the images from a fun little slide show on The Guardian on 100 years of fashion at Ascot — from the elegant pre-first world war era to the more daring ones of modern times.
By day (or, depending on the deadline, by night) I'm a Canadian collage illustrator. Since 2006, the automatism blog is where I share whatever I find inspiring, interesting, or simply beautiful in interiors, design, art, illustration and other creative fields.

Wonderfu, Lori. This is my kinda thing...& I missed it. So thank you.
Good weekend.
I've just done a post about Ascot myself, although none of the outfits this year are as pretty and stylish as your photos!
At least Ascot is now one of the only places top hat and tails and millinery are still worn.
So glad you enjoyed this little extra post!
