Built in the early twentieth century in the fashionable resort of Falsterbo, the lovely summer home of designer David Carlson, his wife Madeleine and their two children is idyllic — white sand beaches are just minutes away, and the generous windows overlook the lovely rose garden, a passion of David's. With so much to see outside, the decor inside has been kept minimal, with white the prevailing colour to give the home a summery holiday mood — a mood that shifts according to the play of light from outside. Family photos, children's drawings, flea market finds and a few modern pieces discovered at auction create a warm and happy environment — all definitely conducive to relaxed and happy summer days.
