Designer Jean-Christophe Aumas loves the 1950s, and his Paris apartment is an ode to his favourite era — livened up with a fearless use of colour that gives his home its cheerful personality. Definitely a home and not a museum. More (in French) here, too. Via Marie Claire Maison.

Love tht floor
oh my goodness... that herringbone floor took my breath away... and all those mid-century pieces...l flawless.
Great post!
oh my... i am LOVING the pink and grey with those floors... bigtime swoon!
The color harmony of the walls and the furniture made the room very vibrant and calm. When me and my friends has stayed at the short term apartment rentals (New York City), we were greeted with the interior design that's very harmonious and beautiful.
In addition to that, the short term apartment rentals (NYC located apartments) was very spacious that me and my friends can move freely and lay around the house after a tiring trip around the city.
WOW! This is really nice. I like the blue chair that can be also be used as bed.
