Copenhagen Cool

Designers Marianne Brandi and husband Keld Mikkelsen of interiors label Day Birger et Mikkelsen decided that, rather than buy a house, they'd rent an apartment in central Copenhagen instead while their 18-year-old daughter Amelia finishes school. Since they rent and can't renovate their space, they went with a strong palette of blue and grey, offset with modern art on the walls. Marianne's collection of textiles adds colour to her office as well as the rest of their home, along with their other collections of artefacts, photographs and the artwork, too — all going to show that being limited by your physical space doesn't mean you must limit your imagination, too. More photos of their apartment here. Via LivingEtc.
