Built in the late 1800s, this house in the fishing village of Skillinge Ă–sterlen (Sweden) was first home to a captain, his wife and their five children. Now the captain's house is the summer home of industrial designer Kristina, husband Jesper and family. Simply decorated in Kristina's favourite black and white, with bright notes of colour here and there, it's not only pretty but an easy and relaxed scheme, too — perfect for sunny days and warm weather by the sea. Love, love, love!! My own home is decorated in black, white and touches of silver, so I am really appreciating these images! Love your blog :) Hazel
I just got yards of b/w thick stripey fabric at good Old Ikea! $5.99/yard. I am not very handy, but I will figure something out! (Especially after looking at this post!)
