Sleeping Beauty

Artist Ruben Toledo and fashion designer Isabel Toledo took a rundown midtown Manhattan space and turned it into a beautiful and inspiring loft home and atelier. Read about the renovation process (dropped ceilings and moldy carpeting were just a few of the horrors dealt with), their fascinating lives — and to see what those little numbers on the photos refer to — here. That bedroom is so pretty — and Ruben's studio is pretty much every artist's dream, too.

Yes you are right - that atelier!! BIG sigh!
In fact I love it all - the half spaces, the pillars (!), the amazing bookshelves.
The art on the right hand side of no 4 is also fantastic.

Thanks for sharing and for the link. I am off to read more.
