Monastic Tranquility

This wonderfully serene space is actually the wing of a Tuscan monastery, converted for private use by the owner, an artist, who was careful to respect the integrity of the historical architecture and character of the old monastery in its renovation. The result is a light-filled home that, while spartan in decor, has an atmosphere filled with contented calm — perfect for cultivating creativity. See more photos of this truly lovely home here.
