The lovely and atmospheric home of Michèle Joubert, located in the Saint-Sulpice area of Paris, was created according to an idea — Michèle wanted her apartment to feel like it was the sanctum of a well traveled writer, a refuge as well as a home. And after careful painting and restoration, surrounded by art, books, and beautiful antiques, Michèle and her family now enjoy a space that is not only literary, but warmly bohemian, too.

The parquet flooring in that apartment is stunning. I would kill small mammals to have floors like that. I love the use of old portraits throughout the apartment too. This is just beautiful! Thanks for sharing :-)
